On Tuesdays there is an organ recital at 12.30 p.m.: organist, Ian Shaw

On Tuesdays at 11.45 a.m. and on Wednesdays at 12.30 p.m. there is a traditional language service of Holy Communion.  The Rev'd Malcolm Torry normally presides.

The Word of the Month during September is FRIENDS

What does it mean to be a friend? How does it relate to love: that English word with so many meanings? The Greek of the New Testament period will help us to think about this. The Word of the Month will be accompanied by an exhibition about the work of the Friends of the City Churches, which is based at St Mary Abchurch.

The Word of the Month during October is CITY

On Thursday the 17th of October there will be a THIRD THURSDAY event at 6 p.m. at St. Mary Abchurch titled 'What makes a good city?' Speakers James St John Davis, Common Councillor for Candlewick Ward; Courtney Plank, City Guide; and Oliver Leigh Wood, Chair, Friends of the City Churches.

The Word of the Month during November will be GRIEF

and at 6 p.m. on Thursday the 21st of November, Archicantiores will be returning for a recital of words and music on the theme of ‘grief’ centred around The Shropshire Lad poetry sequence by A E Housman.
